CIM House Leed Gold Certificate

Setting a New Standard for Sustainability in Port Louis 🌿

We are proud to announce that CIM House has achieved LEED O+M v4.1 Gold certification, becoming the first financial institution to obtain this certification. This achievement recognises strong, measurable sustainability performance in building operations.

This milestone marks Lavastone Properties’ second LEED Gold-certified property in Port Louis, reinforcing our commitment to responsible asset management and long-term value creation.

LEED O+M focuses on how buildings are operated, using verified performance data across energy, water, waste, indoor environmental quality, and transportation. Achieving this certification reflects a collaborative effort between Lavastone Properties and Cim Financial Services Ltd

The certification was awarded based on rigorous requirements established by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and independently verified by Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) over a full performance period.

This achievement goes beyond a plaque on the wall. It demonstrates how landlord–occupier collaboration, continuous performance monitoring, and disciplined operations can deliver buildings that are more efficient, resilient, and supportive of both people and the environment.

The LEED Gold certificate was formally presented by Santanu Duttagupta (GBCI) to Ambrish Maharahaje, Group CEO of CIM Finance, and Nicolas Vaudin of Lavastone Properties, during the certification handover.

We thank CIM GroupProdesign Engineering Consultants, and all project partners for their commitment and collaboration, and we remain focused on raising the bar for sustainable building operations in Port Louis and beyond.
