Port Louis is the only city which is so densely packed with projects. More than 10 projects which have passed the stage of feasibility and reached construction stage, or have just been launched, i.e.:
- 246 Edith Cavell Court
- Port Louis Theatre (In Caudan)
- Extension of Caudan Waterfront
- Aquarium (next to Suffren Hotel)
- Decean Bridge
- Tower 88 (Residential tower)
- Victoria Station – converting the old bus terminals to an international concept of retail, office and bus terminal
- Immigration square (same as Victoria station)
- Light Railway terminal
- Supreme Court (new 10 storey building in Edith Cavell street) and expected to be completed by October 2019
- Other new buildings such as Maximus Tower
Other projects include:
- Extension of the marina waterfront
- Creation of parking hubs and park & ride routes within the city.
